  Comments Took the last couple of days off as my achilles was bugging me. Didn't feel the need to run much with Bandera coming up, but wanted to test it out today and everything was cool. Ran in a seed pair of new Brooks Transcend since they have a higher drop, and dammit if they didn't feel pretty good.

General Information:
  Comments first 50k of Bandera. Went out way back from leaders, but still - way too fast. The decents jacked me up pretty bad, to where my hips and knees and back were hurting really bad by the turnaround. I tried to run with a normal stride on the flatter parts and just couldn't do it. I figured I could hike the second lap, but it didn't seem worth it. I don't think I'm an ultramarathoner.
