Monday, 8/30/2010 Afternoon Normal Run [Top]

General Information:
  Comments 10x300's between 60 and 64 with our ladies (first group) w/ 300-350 jog recovery.

This is one we did back in the Heidelberg days out in Oakley Park in Tiffin. Same kind of thing. Continuous, 650-700m grass loop, 300 of it R-paced running, the rest is jog recovery.

Things went well. It was really hot, but the ladies did a nice job.

Even more impressive was freshman, Jenna Clark Embrey's performance. I believe she finished five 300 meter repeats (maybe six?) and ran the warmup and cooldown with the team.

I've got a huge crush on her. ;)




Really excited about this young team's potential.
21 girls on the team.
TWO of them have run a collegiate cross country season before...so we're extremely inexperienced...but man is this a talented, hard-working group. So much fun seeing them improve together.

General Information:
  Comments An easy four through the streets of Alliance with Jenna this morning. We spent all of yesterday walking around Pittsburgh and just never got a chance to put a run in. We plan to double together tonight. Hopefully another four in the PM!

So glad she's here.
Wish she'd never leave.

General Information:
  Comments Paced Handley and Bruce through a 3x1600 progression run through campus, then ran a fourth mile with Sherwood (it was her last mile)

it went like so:

1) 6:55
2) 6:56
3) 6:50 (last one with Bruce and Handley)
4) 6:55 (closing w/ Sherwood)

No warmup or cooldown!

Running a third run with Jenna soon!!!
