I saw it and didn't believe it at first. I saw it somewhere but I'm not sure if it was an actual quote but I read that after trials he said "I did it for Paris"

I saw that too! I also read an interview where Nick was deemed "The Brad Pitt of Track & Field". Haha, I'm sure plenty of hilarious publicity is going to ensue after this move. 



I think Symmonds still has the American Beer Mile record from his college days? Can anyone validate this? ...And yes, I capitalized the race to make it seem official...which it is...or should be. :/
