Broke my arm and had surgery on it the week after track ended. Trying to think of ways to work out my chest/arm muscles without putting stress on my left forearm (planking even caused me some real issues). Any ideas?

Before I opened this thread I thought your username was Justin Ebates without the space... so I had a male specific one arm workout joke ready. I'll keep that to myself, now that I see that you are not a guy.

Anyway, I've never had a broken arm. What I've seen is that you can workout with wrist weights. You should be able to do flyes and pullovers with wrist weights on. That might be it though. Also, some cable machines have attachments for you to put your hands through instead of having to grab something with your hands... I imagine you can get some resistance bands and play around with them as well.

Also I should say that you need to watch yourself when doing these sort of things considering the state that your arm is in. blah blah blah, Don't lift, push, or pull, with the hand of the broken arm. Blah blah blah, Don't over do it, you're an adult and you'll know when enough is enough.
