Soooo I have a dilemma. Obviously form-related. I find that on distance runs I am able to hold my form quite well, even when I get tired (which is expected). However, when doing workouts at race-pace and such, it seems that my form goes to shits. Of course, most people lose good form when they get tired during workouts, which is somewhat understandable. I simply find that right of the bat I'm basically doing whatever I can to hold the pace. I don't think it's a matter of the pace being too fast, because I can certainly do it. But I don't really know. Just throwing this out there. Advice, tips, whatever it may be, give it a whirl. Thanks.

Do tons and tons of core stability work. Get an exercise ball and stability disc and do every exercise you can find on it. Work your way up to standing on the stability ball and doing squats. Once you can do that, you will feel like a beast.

Listen to the Canadians, they don't drop out of marathons before mile 11.

You need to do more work at or faster than your race pace. At this point in the season, that probably limits you to strides and hill repeats. Get'r dun.

I would do form drills, things like high knees high/low skips those kind of drills if you know them, and strides help too. work on it and do a little a lot instead of a lot a little and your form will come around.

It really depends on the type of form issue you are struggling with.
