running2win, Inc. ("running2win") is committed to protecting your privacy. You can visit most pages on our site without giving us any information about yourself. But sometimes we do need information to provide services that you request, and this privacy statement explains data collection and use in those situations. This privacy statement only applies to running2win.com. Please read the complete running2win, Inc. privacy statement.
Collection of your Personal Information
running2win will collect personal information about you to give you the
best user experience possible. running2win does not collect information
to sell. running2win is against spam and follow a "no-spam" policy.
However, you may choose to accept newsletters via e-mail from running2win
in the form of monthly newsletters or emails sent via running2win by another
member of running2win. Personal information collected by running2win is
limited to name, e-mail address, city, state, zip, and reasons for why you
are running2win. You can choose to submit additional information to running2win
via your member profile, but that information is completely voluntary, except
for said information already collected during registration.
Use of your Personal Information
We use your personal information for the following purposes: To ensure our
site is relevant to your needs. To deliver services, such as newsletters,
events, or training that you request or purchase. To help us create and
publish content most relevant to you. To allow you access to limited-entry
areas of our site as appropriate. running2win may disclose your personal
information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that
such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply
with legal process served on running2win or the site; (b) protect and defend
the rights or property of running2win and its family of services, or (c)
act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of running2win
employees, running2win products or services, or members of the public.
Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which running2win or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities, and by using this site, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country. running2win abides by the safe harbor framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of data from the European Union.
Control of your Personal Information
When you register with running2win, or otherwise give us your personal information,
running2win will not share that information with third parties without your
permission, other than for the limited exceptions already listed. It will
only be used for the purposes stated above. running2win will not share your
email address even though you have the ability to allow your email address to
be shared. This is a setting in your profile page; however, at this time, email
will not be shown on the running2win site.
Security of your Personal Information
running2win is committed to protecting your personal information. We regularly
test our facilities and use a variety of security technologies and procedures
to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use
or disclosure.
Protection of Children's Personal Information
running2win is a general audience site, but because you have the opportunity
to enter your birthday in your profile, running2win requires a parent's
contact information to be associated with any member under the age of 13
in order to protect your child's Web use. Due to the fact that running2win
cannot verify valid personal information by its members it is the responsibility
of that member to be truthful when submitting their data.
Data Review
The owner of running2win reserves the right to review any and all data entered
into the running2win site. By signing up for running2win each member gives
their consent to such review. The intent of running2win.com is not to search user data but to
offer a sophisticated running log tool that will help runners to achieve their
goals as a runner. If the owner feels it justified to review data a member has entered into the
site the member has no recourse of such action. For instance, if a member attempts to enter log
data that is thought to be an attempt to "hack" into running2win's
site it is fully justified for the owner to review any and all data said
member has entered.
Strict Site Policy!
By using running2win.com you agree NOT to abuse it in ANY
way. This mostly relates to entering data that is not valid (i.e., 200 miles in one day,
SQL injections, etc.) Entering invalid data is NOT allowed and will be assumed as an
attempt to "hack" or "take down" the site. Any attempt to "hack"
or "take down" running2win.com's site or database may be reported to authorities.
In addition, if it is determined that you have attempted to "hack" or "take down"
running2win.com you agree to reimburse running2win.com all expenses incurred. This includes,
but is not limited to, an hourly rate of $50/hour, all driving expenses, filing expenses,
loss of time at work at the current hourly rate of employee missing work. This section is NOT meant to
discourage users from using the site. It is intended to discourage people from "hacking"
or "taking down" running2win.com. running2win.com WILL follow through with charges so
please use the site for what it was intended for.
Restricting members from viewing your running log
running2win allows you, as a member, to restrict the viewing of individual workouts
as well as "locking down" your entire running log. Choosing one or both of these
options will, in fact, restrict access to your running log. However, the one exception
is in the case of the owner and creator(s) of the site. The creator(s) of the site reserves the
right to view all workouts available on running2win.
r-mail©
r-mail© is a "home-grown" internal message systems that is similar to email. Messages
written in r-mail© are kept private to the members that own these messages. Messages can
be deleted and, at this time, are purged from the running2win servers each week. In the future
this policy may change so that deleted r-mail© messages will be archived.
r-mail© and Forum messages/advice/guidance
running2win and all owner/creator(s)/employees/affiliates take absolutely no responsibility for
advice, guidance, or any information passed from member(s) to member(s). Each
individual of running2win takes full responsibility for accepting or denying
advice or guidance from other members via r-mail©, forum posts, or any other
form of information sharing. Use running2win.com's site at your own risk.
Use of Cookies
Currently, running2win does not use cookies. However, affiliates and advertiser
so running2win may use cookies. In those instances, the affiliates privacy
policy and use of cookies applies. In the future, running2win plans to add
a cookie to a user's machine after a user logs in to running2win.com and
selects the "Remember me" check box on the log in screen, thus
agreeing to the placement of a cookie on said machine. The cookie will remain
for 60 days before it expires. Every time a user returns to running2win
with a cookie, the cookie is renewed for an additional 60 days. The cookie
stores your encrypted username and password, which allows running2win to
validate your information in order to log you in automatically and to give
you a better user experience.

running2win will occasionally update this privacy statement. When we do,
