I think that it would be helpful if weight lifting (or any other exercise with reps and sets) had its own blue heading under cross training. While you can already choose types of cross trainng, using the interval workout format for set/rep based activitiess would be much simpler than typing up everything in the notes. It would help runners/coaches keep track of their workouts easier. And under create your own, a checkbox or something to mark that activity as using the set/rep format would also be neat. Hope my suggestions are helpful. Thanks for the great site and all the work that goes into it.

JThackery,

Strength training should be a vital part of any runners training program. As a coach I believe that including this on the site is a very good idea. Functional training can prevent injuries and improve performance.
