I'm not sure how many people would really benefit from it, but could we get a place to log climbing in feet for runs to see totals over time?

The poor man's way to add any feature like this to your log (anything you want to count and track) is to add it as a run type.

Add a run type "Vertical Gain" - uncheck the count as running miles.

Then you can log a run in meters or yards and you will be able to track your vertical gain. (You could log it in feet, but the units available are miles, km, m and yds)

Unfortunately, you have to log it as a separate workout to do things this way.
